by BRITTANY PASSONS

Stillborn Poem

A dead poem,
Stillborn and only half finished,
Is abruptly abandoned
Upon a whim of its dissatisfied writer.
An unloved stillborn,
Half-formed and clumsy,
Is left to rot in a paper casket
Without even a title as a headstone
Or a date to mark its tiny nameless passing.
