RESEARCH ACTIVITY

We've been working here since 2003. During the field season, approxiamately 21 mist-nets are operated daily at the site, weather permitting.  We captured 1,175 birds in the spring of 2003 with an effort of 7788 net hours.  During the first season of operation, 60 species of birds were captured.

Click here for a complete table of all the birds captured at the Bay St. Louis study site.

Additionally, during the 2003 field season we collected some fecal samples.
